Mr. Fire - Dr. Joe Vitale

Dr. Joe Vitale is not only rich, he is famous. He championed the art of hypnotic marketing and has published many books and articles on the subject. He also has a mentoring program and speaks at some of Internet Business seminars. His main website is MrFire.com. He has a huge list of free articles, a blog, a podcast, and naturally, a list of all the books he wrote. There are a lot. You can also subscribe to his free newsletter. Of course, you can also purchase his Marketing and Mentoring services too.

You know what? P.T. Barnum never said "There's a sucker born every minute". Joe has proof on his website. Dr. Joe has written more about P.T. Barnum than anyone and now has a sequel just released with a huge publicity campaign you should read about in Articles. Dr. Joe's recent book is called "There's a Customer Born Every Minute : P.T. Barnum's Amazing 10 "Rings of Power" for Creating Fame, Fortune, and a Business Empire Today—Guaranteed!". It's in hardcover at Amazon.com. His last book took "Harry Potter" off the number one spot!

He was interviewed on a free teleconference call hosted by Sterling Valentine. I listened in and Dr. Joe inspired me. He is truly a rags to riches guy.

One main secret I learned was how to appropriately use a hugely popular movie star or other proper name that is a Top Yahoo! Buzz search term legally. Of course, you can't just sprinkle the name Tom Cruise all over your website and in your blogs. You have to tie the name into your website and campaigns, like Dr. Joe has done with P.T. Barnum. He has also used Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan in some blogs and tied it to their hypnotic affects on their audiences, etc. Now if I could just think of a way to tie Tom Cruise into this website legally. Hmm. Thinking on that....

Anyway, Dr. Joe is one of the most popular JV partner candidates, meaning he gets A LOT of requests. He says he has so little time for reading his emails that most requests get lost (deleted) instantly. Oddly, Sterling Valentine caught his attention and he agreed to be interviewed in this teleconference. I am glad - I learned a lot. Catch the Sterling Valentine story here. He's fairly new on the scene.

So Joe Vitale IS truly My Mentor on Marketing. Listening to him and reading his stuff is inspiring. He's kept me going when I've been about to give up.

Don't be surprised if it takes you awhile to get some traffic and subscribers. After all, we can't all be Sterling and go meet all the gurus by paying the big bucks and traveling to their seminars. Even though I might like to go to Vegas or Florida to hear them speak and make those "connections".

For the most part I have kept track of my mentors via the Internet. If I convince Joe Vitale to read this webpage, I'll be very happy indeed. He's a busy guy.

I know that Joe knows that we can't all spend lots of money on every eBiz deal that the gurus promote. We need to focus on what we don't already know and what will help OUR own Plan B become profitable.

I have a comment regarding Dr. Joe's email messages to his "list". He mostly promotes his JV partner's products. Of course, that is the point. Maybe he will promote mine someday. I like how he uses short but convincing statements about the products without all that pushy stuff that really turns me off. I haven't felt a need to unsubscribe to avoid it. His style is a good way to promote to your list. And since you aren't an expert like Joe, be sure to add more valuable "free" tips to keep your readers from "turning you off" too. RESPECT YOUR LIST!

I wish Joe would offer commissions for affiliates. I looked on his websites for Affiliate signups and don't see any. I guess he's rich enough - which I do appreciate. (Why be greedy.) I get nothing for the links to his websites and products here. Yet when you feel you are ready to promote your fantastic product, Joe's marketing skills might be worth paying for.

Oh, I did find an offer for a reciprocal link. That's a link back to my website, which in itself could increase my rankings and help my web traffic. I have emailed, as requested, and am awaiting a response.

PS. I never heard from Dr. Joe and probably won't get that reciprocal link. Oh well. Joe has been busy with The Secret among other things.
