"THE HOTTEST" Niches for Making Money on the Internet Today

Before considering any Internet Business offers, you should understand the marketplace. In Information Products I wrote about one of the teleconferences that I listened to. It was an interview with Yanik Silver who is a legend in Internet Marketing and Information products. He said that these are the best catagories for making money on the Internet (Dec.2005).

  • Making Money Yanik Silver said anything that involves getting rich is easy to sell, in both in paper and digital medium. People are always looking to make money.

  • Financial Investing Apparently people interested in investing just suck up everything they can get their hands on. Day-trading and options trading, real-estate, everything in this catagory is in demand, Yanik said.

  • How-To Do most anything, well, anything that they would want to do. Some subjects are less popular than others and it depends upon how much information is already out there on a particular subject. These customers only need "one-of" these. Still, the "first" out there is highly rewarded.

  • Self-Improvement No surprise here. Everyone wants to improve themselves physically, mentally, and metaphysically.

  • Niches and Hobbies One of the widest areas of all, Yanik reminds us as do other experts. Secrets and Tips in these areas sell well, as do the products.

    NOTE: I do not cover "real estate" businesses. That does not mean they aren't viable. They just don't interest me.

    Remember, since the Internet is used mostly for research, people search out information on their interests most of all.

    For instance, golfers want to have every advantage they can get their hands on for improving their game, every tip and secret. Sports, poker, music, artists and stars, sewing, scrapbooking - the list is endless. In fact, I first started a niche site, put it aside for awhile, and now have several. You can find great niches that you know or want to research and build a great website around your niche.

    Of course, things do change and you would always want to "be tuned-in to your customers". You should allow for changes in your business plan always to account for trends and new products and ideas.
